The Caddy
The Caddy is the basic building block of the Orderly Drawer system. This carefully-crafted piece can be used alone or in tandem with the Companion and the Custom organizers. It is the only Orderly Drawer element that comes standard with a bottom. This, along with the finger cove that runs around the inside rim, allows it to quickly be lifted from its drawer for table-setting ease, carried to the patio, or placed on the counter for a buffet style, self-serve meal.
The Caddy comes with the following features:
- 4 adjustable solid wood dividers, allowing for a maximum of 5 compartments
- satin lacquered finish will resist stains
- carefully mitered corners
- tapered slots so that debris won’t easily gather in the bottom of your drawer
- slots every 3/8″ for micro adjustment
- made of solid hardwood, except for the bottom, which is cabinet-grade plywood
- plywood bottom is rabbeted (a kind of woodworking joint) into the sides so that plywood edge is invisible
- overall dimensions: 10″ x 10″ x 2″
This is a beautifully made piece that would complement any kitchen.
The dividers in all orderly drawer products can be skewed up to about 10 degrees, allowing for adequate (but not wasteful) space for odd shaped items as seen below.
